Map Interactive Map Location of Lower Peridot Ward in Reborn.
The Lower Peridot Ward is the southern section of the Peridot Ward, the southwesternmost Ward of Reborn City, and the first Ward the Player passes through on their journey through the Reborn Region. It is the location of the Peridot Gym, the location of the first Gym the Player challenges in the Reborn League. Due to its size, the Ward is broken up into two sections: the Peridot Ward and the Lower Peridot Ward.
The Neo-Circuit Power Plant is the location of the Peridot Gym, the first Gym the Player will challenge in the Reborn League. It is led by the eccentric Electric-type trainer Julia.
Name Rater's House[]
The Name Rater resides in a house in the west of the Lower Peridot Ward. As his husband explains, he doesn't actually care about the original trainer of a Pokémon, and can rename them regardless.
Seacrest's Garden[]
In the northwest of Lower Peridot Ward there is a hotel owned by Mr. Seacrest. It has a beautiful garden in the center of it, but out of concern for its well-being, Seacrest requires trainers to battle him before they can enter it. It must be noted that the garden encounters are located in the (northern) Peridot Ward.
Northeast of the Pokémon Center there is a Hotshot guarding the entrance to an alleyway. Defeat him and he will allow you to pass; you can find more trainers to battle and some Pokémon to catch here.
Fisherman's Pool[]
North of the Train Station there is a house with a swimming pool in it. The owner rescued a bunch of Pokémon from the lake when it became toxic and keeps them in his pool. Defeat the owner in battle and he will allow you to access it.
Train Station[]
This is where the Player begins their journey. While riding the train to the Reborn region with Ame, it explodes as soon as it arrives, destroying the station.
If the password "monorock" is active, it will be a Dwebble.
The Bug Gym Leader Shelly is called in to look it over. She says that it isn't sick, but rather is extremely lonely. As it's current owner cannot give it the attention it needs, the two suggest that the player look after it instead. If you refuse, Shelly will take it instead. This event is unavailable after the player earns Badge 01. The Pokemon doesn't have any Egg Move in its moveset.
Scared Pokemon Event[]
North of the entrance from Opal Ward is a man blocking a small alley asking for money. After giving him three payments of 50, he will move and let you pass through to a house containing a Pokemon.
Normally, it will be either a Minccino or an Espurr. Which Pokemon between the two will appear is already determined shortly after the start.
If the password "monoground" or "monoice" is active, it will be a Swinub.
If the password "monorock" or "monosteel" is active, it will be an Aron.
If you have PokéSnax in your bag, the Pokémon will join you. The Pokemon doesn't have any Egg Move in its moveset.
Whismur Event[]
Below the area where you found Minccino/Espurr, there is a house. If you have PokéSnax in your bag and enter, a Whismur will appear. Unlike Minccino/Espurr, however, it will attack you, so it must be caught in battle rather than received. This event is unavailable after the player earns Badge 01. The Whismur doesn't have any Egg Move in its moveset.
Gulpin Event[]
Above the house with Whismur, there is a dumpster that holds a Gulpin. Like Whismur, it can be fought and caught in battle. The player must be holding a PokéSnax in order for this event to occur. The Gulpin doesn't have any Egg Move in its moveset.
A Teddiursa will appear in the street between the Fisherman's house and the Whismur house when the weather is clear and it is daytime. It will flee when interacted with, appearing in another place in either the Opal Ward, Peridot Ward or Lower Peridot Ward. The Teddiursa doesn't have any Egg Move in its moveset.
Blitzle Event[]
During stormy weather, a Blitzle will appear outside the Neo-Circuit Power Plant between the satellite dishes; it can be fought and caught in battle. The Blitzle doesn't have any Egg Move in it moveset.
Skitty Event[]
In the apartment building north of the Pokemon Center, a little boy can be found attempting to take care of his sick Skitty. His Grandmother insists the Skitty needs an Oran Berry. An Oran Berry can be found directly north of the apartment, hidden in a rock. Return with the berry and offer to adopt the Skitty. Skitty will have with one of these combinations of Egg Moves:
Wish, Cosmic Power, Tackle, Fake Out
Sucker Punch, Fake Out
Zen Headbutt, Fake Out
Delibird Event[]
Behind Julia's Gym is a Gift Box, in the back right corner. Pick it up and give it to the Old Man in the apartment building to the north to receive a Delibird. Delibird will have all of these Egg Moves in its moveset: Ice Shard, Spikes, and Splash.
Numel Event[]
After defeating Julia, during rainy or stormy weather, a Numel will be outside the train station. If you have PokéSnax in your bag, the Numel will be attracted to it and join you. It will have one of four possible Egg Moves in its moveset: Body Slam, Growth, Iron Head or Stockpile.
Onix Event[]
After defeating Julia, return to the Train Station and speak with the nearby Hiker, who has begun his search for a new home. Return to the house that held the Whismur, where the landlord has returned. He asks you to send the man in: after returning to tell the man this, he moves in. As thanks, he gives you his old Onix. The Onix doesn't have any Egg Move in it moveset.
After Reborn City is restored and the player has earned Badge 14, the same Hiker can be found in the same area if the weather is clear. He will thank the player and give the player either a Choice Band if the player joined the Aqua Gang or a Choice Specs if the player joined the Magma Gang.
Doctor's Sidequest[]
A purple-haired man can be found aiding the victims of the train crash just above the station.
Once you have obtained your starter you may talk to him once, where he will comment that you should "wait your turn."
After you have cleared the Mosswater Industrial and before you start the first gym battle, you can complete this sidequest. The doctor will now have only two people in his queue. When you talk to him, the boy in the queue will steal the remaining medicine from the doctor. You must then go to the alley in the Peridot ward shown below and battle the thief, who will return the goods upon your victory.
You can then return to the doctor He will introduce himself as Corey, recognize your work, and reward you with 5 Exp. Candy S.
